- Identify investment objective: We will start the process by doing an in-depth analysis of our client's current financial/investment circumstances. Important elements such as risk tolerance level, investing time horizon, cash flow/income needs, and tax consequences on current and future investments will be reviewed carefully.
- Creation of the investment policy statement: Each client has different goals and needs. Therefore we will customize a unique investment policy statement that is suitable for that particular client we are working with. This is an interactive process and our clients can participate in the formation of the policy.
- Build Portfolio through Asset Allocation: Based on our client's needs, we design and tailor a target portfolio allocation utilizing different asset classes and investment styles. This will be important since it will reflect the risk profile of that particular client's circumstances.
- Customized Strategic Portfolio creation:
- Summit Strategic Portfolio: Customized blend of domestic large, mid, small cap individual stocks and bonds with Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) as core holdings. No-load mutual funds for international holdings.
- Summit Diversified Funds Strategies: No-Load, institutional class mutual funds that are tailored based on the client's target asset allocation.
- Summit Reverse Allocation Portfolio: Blended portfolio of a non-market correlated Core holding with Summit Strategic Portfolio or Summit Diversified Funds Portfolio.
- Monitor and review: We will provide the day-to-day management of the portfolio and take prudent actions on behalf of the client. We will provide Quarterly Performance Statement in addition to monthly account statements our clients receive. Also, we will offer face to face, annual review meetings for our clients to get up-to-date information on how their investments are doing. Clients can always initiate a face to face meeting with the Portfolio Manager or set up a telephone conference meeting to ask any questions they may have on their account(s).
